Jackson Inner-Tuber looking for additional Tubin spots

Hey Colorado boaters,

I've been inner-tubin at the Jackson Kayak Park all summer long here in Reno, NV. I was thinking about doing a full Tubin Park tour next season. I doubt I'll score any sweet sponsors like PBR or Keen, but I'm hoping to get some sweet beta to aid in my conquest for tubin park dominance.

What do you think, is the play park in Golden as good as the Jackson tubin' park here in Reno? My Jackson Inner-Tube phonix monkey's better than any other tube brand on the market and I'm jonesing to test it out in some other sweet spots. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Forget the wimpy play parks. If you really have what it takes to dominate in tubing as you say, go straight to NIAGRA!

I'm more of a creeking tuber, so can't speak to the park and play opportunities. However, there's definitely a large community out here. If you're in Golden, check in with the teenagers at the trailer parks. In Boulder the CU frat houses have some tight crews that know the Boulder Creek features well. They should also be able to hook you up with a good place to buy/rent a freestyle tube if you don't want to transport your own. Good luck.

Boulder and Golden are IMO where most of the tubin gets done in colorado.

You should have no trouble findin a tubin partner at either of these "hot spots". Just watch out for them nasty pittbulls off leash in golden!

Screw the off leash pitbulls, I'd be more worried about the boaters - so of them are really unreasonable and get annoyed when tubers stand right above a drop and don't move, blocking their way. Can't understand it at all.

Randolph -

Let me be the first to encourage you to pursue your lofty goals of full time tubing bum. I think it is an honorable path which you walk down and I cannot wait to see what the next level holds for your extreme freestyle tubing skilz.
Be cautious when you bring your game to Golden however. There are 12 year old girls in thongs that would McNasty all over your face and ask you if you'd like fries with that...it's truly dog eat dog here.

Best of luck to your in your training at Reno. Remember to plug your nose before going under.

.....and do the particles really pass through the tighties?

Randolph, I suggest Foxton on the South Platte just southwest of Denver. The dueling banjo locals up there will show you some chunder'in moves to emulate. You may be the one with the most teeth there though. Bring your shotgun, pickup and PBR!

Tube sponsorship opportunities

I recently lost my "Tube" sponsorship when I made a comment about someone's overweight wife so if anyone knows of any good sponsorship opportunities, please drop me a line. I was recently at the Outdoor Retailer trade show running around talking to every manufacturer I could, but no one seemed interested in sponsoring me, DESPITE my impressive planned travel itinerary for 2007.

I already have resume's in the mail to Goodyear, Michelin, and Les Schwab (you don't have Les Schwab in Colorado, but if you've ever done Hell's Canyon in Idaho, chances are you or someone in your party has had to go to Les Schwab in Grangeville to repair a flat tire...).

I am interested in obtaining some outerwear and accessory sponsorhips. Does anyone have any leads on "wife-beater" manufacturers? I don't want to deal with Hanes, they're too corporate like Wave Sport. I've also thought about sending resume's to Colt 45 and Mickeys.

Anyway, any leads would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.
