Is the water still on at Pumphouse campground?

Does anyone know if the tap is still flowing?

Thanks in advance!

yep 1200 today. Pumphouse usually runs till the snow keeps you off. Last year I floated it till november. more of a fishing run then, but still fun. THe Blue is running now too if you want more whitewater

Thanks...I did see that it's a 1200, that's a fun level.

Sorry I wasn't more clear, I'm wondering if the drinking water spigot is still on at the campground.

Thanks,

J.

ah- sorry. Thought "tap" was a clever analogy for dam release. carry on.

Have you tried calling the Kremmling BLM office at 970-724-three thousand?

Their website says the water system is open so I'd assume it's still on: BLM Colorado | Kremmling Field Office | Pumphouse Camping

No fees are charged after oct 1st not sure if this means that they turn the water off but I know the poopers are still open. Why do you need the water to be on?

Fees until Oct 31 and water is still on

Please note that we charge fees at Pumphouse and Radium until Oct. 31st.

The water system is on for another week or two, depending on some work we have scheduled to replace valves. We are scheduled to start work the week of Oct. 17th, but it could possibly start next week. Once the work is finished, we will shut down the system to prevent damage from any unpredicatable hard freeze. I will keep the Web site up-to-date for you.

FYI, we spent $4000 maintaining the water system this season. We had to replace the main pump (been there since 1980s), fix two pipes that corroded and broke (at different times), fix the second pump which became detached from a pipe, and we got the storage tank cleaned (once every 5 years). Just so you know where some of the money goes.....
