Info on Upper Tellico

I’ve been whitewater paddling for about 6 months, I am local to east TN and will be visiting and staying in Tellico Plains for 12 days. I’ve found quite a bit of information on the Ledges and Lower section of the river, but I do believe this would be above my skill level, so I am looking for a little more info on the Upper (Hatchery to Bald River) is this a runnable section? If so, at a low flow can this be ran by a beginner/intermediate paddler? There will be safety on shore as well

Any information would be greatly appreciated, and as this is my first post if I’ve broken any rules please inform me.
