Can someone give me the link to the video on Vimeo [I think], about some Ikers running the Ohanepecosh river in WA state? The author may be a boater who goes by the name of Fish.
Thanks v much.

thanks to both of the above posters.

Yes, I have seen that one; thats what got me to buy my 1st IK all those years ago. Of course I haven't ever run sh%*t like in the vid and never will but its fun to watch this stuff every now and then to get stoked, especially now with the long dark days of winter.
Thanks to you both.

haha shap, reminds me of the end of Blizzard of Aaahhhhs "notice the back handspring OVER the crevasse" lol

biggest drop I've swam ... was pretty gentle compared to a long boulder garden beating.

IKs can be great for creeking, if there are scouting/portage options, and the water is low enough to preclude open-ended swims. still, I think that was a nine hour day, with several swims per person and a few wrapped boats to boot.

It's a fine line deciding what you are willing to attempt -- don't run nuthin' you wouldn't swim is a good rule.

worth it to see so lovely a place!

The alpacka boaters have been through with a bit more style than our hacking.... think they cleaned Elbow room, crux of the lower gorge.
