If you have an REI membership the 20% off cupon is good right now.. it says it's not good for hard shell kayaks and SUP's.. no mention of IK's. There was a glitch in their system earlier this month that they where selling the tomcat tandem for $365.. I wasent fast enought but my brother in law got one..

I received an unbelievable deal from Backcountry late last year on an Aire Outfitter. I saw the price on Amazon and thought it was a mistake. I ordered it immediately, thinking that I would receive an email stating the price was incorrect. The IK showed up a few days later without a " this is a mistake" email. The IK was the current model and not old stock. I was going to post the deal here on the forum but the price was up $300+ the next day. All I can say is check back often and you might be surprised.

I think the 20% coupon at REI is about as good as it gets reliably. Backcountry also has a 20% coupon right now, and may have different selection.

I too caught the amazing deal late last fall, I think a couple days before thanksgiving. I got a Lynx II 40% off. That was the only time I have seen a deal that good. Amazon helped me find it, but Backcountry was the seller.

Good luck.

The retailer The Boat People, is worth a gander. They always have moderate discounts off retail price on Aire IKs. The guy that runs the company has written detailed information about the performance of all the IKs--really useful. I bought a Lynx II and some paddling gear from them. They offer 5% of the price back in accessories or shipping, and discount an additional 5% off if you pay with cashier's check. Probably a bit more money than the discount warehouses, but great customer service and run by a boater.
