Yeah, that made me chuckle.
In past years when it did run, the peak didn't happened until the first or second week of June. And, since all the drainages that juice Cameo are generally along or north of I-70, I'd be surprised if Cameo got to 20,000 -they just didn't have that great a snowpack. Westwater will definitely get above 20K, but that's due to the Delores and Gunnison flows.
In my opinion,the only chance for Big Sur is that is gets really hot really quick so it all comes down at once, and I don't think that's what we want for an extended paddling season. Big Sur is fun, but it's not the Holy Grail of kayaking in Colorado.
