I Busted My Ball Today, the water was to HIGH

Man I am such a poserand weekend paddler and all I can say is that you guys are to funny. An informational site, with good varying opinions, compassionate authors and some good old SMACK TALK.

That being said let's start THE BALLBUSTER THREAD:

Anyone who is complaining about the flows being too high is definately questioning their own ability and the ability of their so called "Sports." If you can't take people that shouldn't be on the river down the river that's not the fault of the Water Board around here, that's a you problem. We on this board don't give a Fuck about the commercial side with be few exceptions of those who make a living there. As for the irregular flows they always bump flows for days not hourly or daily releases causing fish habit to be greatly altered, so I see them doing a responible job controlling a necessary resource for all. They do much better than in other parts of the country.

Note I'm a rafter not a kayaker and a fisherman not a Class 5 guy I boat with my dog so I know PUSSY and I smell a pussy

P.S. It's Going to be ECarlson's birthday and your all invited to his mom's house for beer and porn. Count me in the water's too high

Last year I went to Snow bird one day and there was like 6 feet of new snow. I went straight to the head guys office and told hime that more than 15" is unacceptable!! I mean how could they teach lessons with that much snow.

To the People who wish to comment about preferred water levels for commercial rafting in Gore Canyon,

I hope you have the experience and/or qualifications to support your opinions. Rick Covington and many others do. Ask yourself if you really want to continue with this unnecessary bashing in this thread and Kara Lamb's thread below.

Really, what's the point?

TK

Nobody here is claiming to be an expert at "preferred levels for commercial rafting" most however could care less about preferred commercial levels and are just happy to have above average flows. You have to admit he sounded like I whiny bastard in his post. I have to agree with the comment that maybe his business is suffering as a result of his attitude and not flows.

Tim, we aren't questioning/don't care about his boating skills. It was more of his douchebag comments that everyone is responding to.

I'd like to chime in here as well. Ballbuster, aka: wholesurfer: Rick Covington Owner of Up Tha Creek Rafting [email protected] 970-947-0030

Rick here has posted on the Buzz in other names. I bet a few of you remember a post by this (Pick any degrading name and place here). It went something like: "no more kayakers dying ?...........too bad..thats the news I look for to make my day..!" it was posted circa 2006.

Sere post: https://www.mountainbuzz.com/forums/f...rfer-9413.html

I happen to live in the same valley as Mr. Covington. I would never send anybody on a raft trip with his outfit, and after the comment a few years ago, sent him a few emails and a few phone calls asking for clarification about said quote. Of course, I received none.

Sorry Tim that this guy is your friend, but he really is a moron.

To rick, Wah, wah wah on Gore. Go run sho sho with some fat texans.

Next time I see you, I'll have some choice words for you in person

Hey, the first place I go when there is over 15" of POW is the park. I mean there is nothing like an icy walled pipe on powder day. I find that my powder boards are the really are at their optimal performance level when I skip through the extra snow to the ice off a ramp in the park. I think I can't ride 55 was there pushing all that extra snow off. Good thing because that guy is so talented.
