Heard that the Town of Carbondale actually bought the land/ramp, so there should be no more access issues in the future!

is the habitat stamp which you refer to the same that is included when purchasing a colorado fishing license?

also, are there any diversions/hazards/rapids between the Cdale ramp and the black bridge ramp? i have run cemetery several times in the past, but always put in at the black bridge ramp downstream of Cdale - just wondering if there is anything to be heads up for.

glad to hear the ramp issues are being resolved, hopefully in a permanent manner. thanks in advance.

My wife just took a ride-along on this section today. Said there was one larger tree about 1/4 of the way down, but out of play if your paying attention (note she does not have alot of river miles so the 1/4 is truely a guess).

if c-dale actually bought the land/ramp,why would you need a habitat stamp at put-in?that was an issue when DOW was running it;i could see that DOW would still require it at the 1/2 way point(west bank/CMC) put-in,if they still manage that, but not at c-dale if they dont maintain it anymore.anybody?

There's a sign at Carbondale stating you must have one. Saw it on Sunday. Not sure who is managing it at this point.

Not sure of the details, but the DOW may lease it from the City (as they did from the prior land owner, therefore resulting in the same regs, otherwise their budget may be keeping them from getting out there to remove there stuff.
