Gunny Gorge at 7 grand???

Has anyone been down the Gunny Gorge at this level? Thinking about running it on Saturday? Just wondering how this level is? I heard big play and fun rapids from some paddlers that have boated the gorge at around 6 grand in the 90's?

good level

I ran it last weekend at 7000 and it was great. There is some good surf but its mostly on the fly. The last set of rapids leading into and at Cable Rapid are big pushy fun. Boulder Garden has a big pourover on the left at bottom but all of the rest of the canyon is just big waves. Enljoy it while its high!

Not Big Wave from the salt! Sorry! Also, does anyone know if the put in road is accessible with a Subaru? I remember the road being really washed out a few years ago?

you'll be fine. I did it in a Subaru a few weeks ago and doubt anything has changed.

the road is only bad if it is rainy or wet weather
