Granite gauge spikes?

Does anyone know, or have an opinion, about what's going on with the Granite gauge? Its got a baseline around 100 but shows what appear to be a couple diurnal cycles with spikes to 1,000ish cfs.

I don't know how to show the graph but here's the link.

I can guarantee it didn't go up that high. It is probably due to ice. There were a couple of large spikes on the Wellsville gauge earlier this season before it was shut down for about a month for ice...so that would be my guess.

Watching it pretty close huh Phil?

We Float fished the ark yesterday from lone pine to texas creek. It was running about 300. We did not have to portage once nor did we even get stuck once. We were in a 14' boat and saw 2 other boats on the water. A little windy but overall a nice day. Fishing really turned on around 1 to 3pm. Waters is still a little cold but once the sun had been toasting the water for a little the fishing really picked up. I imagine in the next couple weeks if temps don't get to high and river doesn't come up to much the fishing is going to be on fire!

Maybe next week Phil. It sounds like we may get a few warm days...I would be up for some low water numbers or fractions...or even a town run down to johnson's village.
