hey mike, not sure which goods youre referring to. the only things running around you are the Colorado and the Gunny. lots of sections to choose from but Westwater, the Black, and Gunny Gorge are the only ones going right now that i would recommend. glenwood isnt too far, maybe 90 minutes, and Moab is only about an hour, but neither of those are anything spectacular (maybe barrel in g-wood canyon if its running). i could be down on the 19th and 20th (next tues/wed) or perhaps the next weekend (23rd/24th). i will let you know....what are you interested in running?

oh, and the unmentionable is clippin along at 926 cfs, i would imagine at least until labor day? if not later

its about an hour and a half from junction to the rooster tail.....its a quick hour to montrose but it will take some time driving slow on back roads to get to the bad boy itself.

a black mission is a little out of my league, i would wait for milo's upcoming report and then ask around, you'll likely get some replies on people who want to go then

That which shall not be named

No waves running in Junc-town proper. However, Barrell in Glenwood is running at a pretty exciting level, and the Glenwood play wave is always fun. Bottom line is if you're in Junction, you're gonna have to drive to boat, but there are options! Gore, Dowd, Barrell, a boney Meatgrinder and Narrows, maybe a boney Slaughterhouse, Westwater, and that pretty little thing in Montrose ...

maybe it's a little low now, 130, or maybe not, but i have only done the section to the small dam and lake, hiking down in at either bear crk, or the unc and red mt. crk confluence. boating is not too bad, w/ one gnarly, small, up-against-the-wall-thing that can be avoided by hiking in at bear crk and doing the lower half, which is class 4 boating in a class 6 gorge, at least at lower flows
