Grand Canyon Fall 2012 Video of Rapids!

Hance, Horn, Granite, Hermit, Crystal, Lava, 209, Little Bastard.

A POV video of some of the rapids through the Grand Canyon. GoPro is mounted on a 6' piece of 1.5" PVC then the PVC mounted to the frame of the raft with an umbrella holder.

Note my bad entry on Hance where I go over the top pourover sideways! Whoops!

Huge hit in Upset! Did not make the right sneak.

This trip was from October 23 - November 12, 2012. Flows were 8000 for Hance and then ranged from 7000-9000 from Horn down.

Incredible trip, can't wait to go again!

We launch Dec 5. It's great getting a little heads up. Those holes in horn looked huge. Great job with the video, I'll reciprocate when we get back. We've got one cat, two kayakers, 25 days.

This was one of the better angles of filming to really see the rapids, IMO. Thanks for sharing.

18' Maravia from Moenkopi. After watching the vid several times I do believe the water is bigger than what the GoPro makes it look like...

Maybe but at 5:00 the whole boat is swallowed and again in Lava Falls... 18' Maravia getting a full dunk says that the hole was pretty big.
