Cool.

Well, what is everyone using for automatic updates sent to your phone?

Obviously phateye is out.

Kevin, does river brain do this?

The USGS will send emails; look at the gauge page Dan linked to, and scroll down to "Subscribe to WaterAlert" just under the first graph. I use that for email flow warnings for stuff that I may not always watch (e.g. Big Thompson), and River Flows for checking gauges on my phone.

Phateye? Hey, if I answer your question, will you recommend a good visor to fit under my Protec helmet?

I think you found the one thing in the world that Riverbrain can't do, but I'll bet if you send a note to the site owner, Dan, he'll put it on his list of enhancements. You just want to be able to set a threshold value per run that generates an alert whenever the flow exceeds the threshold? I thought about feature myself, but I'm an obsessive compulsive flow checker, so don't find I really need the feature.

P.S. I believe the correct spelling is "gauge".

RiverBrain Alerts

RiverBrain already does this, just need to sign up for their email alerts.

It's pretty slick to get these emails:

The River Flow is up to 437.0 CFS on Lower Fish Creek of the Fish Creek. Thanks for using the Riverbrain.com flow notification service.

KSC thanks for adding all the runs, I keep saying I will start...

Ah, I was wrong! Just as I'd originally expected, Riverbrain does do everything in the world. I'm sorry I doubted you Riverbrain.
