Golden WP levels??

On eddyflower it says the flows of Golden are 55, is that right? I was down there last week at the river was at least at 90 since Library hole was surfable. Did the river really drop that much and hasn't come back up since? Or are gauges not reliable this time of year due to ice/cold temps/variable weather???and if 55 is correct, is Library hole even surfablecwithout destroying your boat?

Thanks for any beta!

55 is correct. You "can" surf library all the way down to 35...if you wanted to. 50 is about the minimum for me. It is tough to keep your ends off the bottom for anything below this. Up until the middle of last week the gauge still read as ice. There was no way it was 90. The most it was was 60.

I was under the assumption that library hole was only surfable down to 90, but apparently I'm wrong (or the gauge is) since I was able to surf it today. But thanks for the input

I've been there each of the last 3 weeks and you can spin both ways in Library at these levels.

Just got out of the Golden PP an hour ago. It is floatable. The new Grandstand hole is better. Spinable at todays 63 CFS and same for the library hole as stated above. Otherwise pretty scrapy most of the way down. If you can't resist like me, go for it! Otherwise wait for is to get to at least 100 CFS.

Side note: I went to Lyons yesterday. I'd stick with Golden as it was pretty weak at the current low flow. Black Bear hole and A-Hole were the best but thats not saying much.... Looked like a long scrape to October Hole and it didn't look any better.
