I was on Clear Creek just after the torrential downpour stopped and it had not affected the level at all. What the hell happened? How long does it typically take such events to reach the rivers? Any chance this will make Lefthand or Bear go tomorrow evening?

Read the article in last summer's LVM zine. Ground water acts like a spunge. Water only makes it to the river if the spunge is already full.
