Glenwood not as cool at 15k should get better at 17k

I went to Glenwood on Monday when it was around 11,000.... It was the coolest wave I have been on in Colorado.

Thinking bigger is better 15k should have been amazing. Made the 2 hour drive only to find it really green. I had a few decent rides but drifted off several times as the wave would pulse and green out. A couple locals showed up and bailed after about 30 min saying that this is an in between level and that 17K should be sweet.

Just a heads up.

I was down there a week ago too, and it was fun wave. I talked to the guys at Glenwood Kayak and they said it greens out between 14-15k cfs, but above that comes back again. They said at 17k it was much taller and steeper then 10k, and a ton of fun. Kinda weird that it works like this, but I guess thats what you get with high flows and a new feature.
