Georgia girl- New to forum

Hey guys! I'm relatively new to kayaking and looking to make contact with some local kayakers to hook up with. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can do trips during the week and on weekends.

I've got Pyranha Varun and I want to start getting out on the river as much as possible so I can truly discover what my boat is capable of doing.

If anybody is game, looking to get a trip together this Tues (05-10-11). Give me a holler!

I'm located in North Georgia. An hour away from the Cartecay, and the Chattooga. 30 minutes from the Hooch.

Boatertalk.com or Alabamawhitewater.com might be a little better forums for you. Most of the post here are Colorado,Wyoming,or N.Mexico boaters.Boatertalk is more GA.,AL.,or the Carolinas. If you make it out to CO. for some boating stay in touch. It sux because you had a lot of dirty, stinky boater guys excited!

You could close your eyes and put a pin in a Colorado map and hit a river!Good luck on finding folks, lotta good friends and paddlers in that area!
