GCPBA RiverNews 5/15/2013 Help Water Plants at Granite Camp!

Happy Spring!

We had a very successful week of planting at Granite Camp last month and we are in need of assistance watering those little gems!

Our goal is to get them watered at least once a week (although twice would be better) through the summer and we have already had great support from OARS, Wilderness, AzRA, CanX, Tour West, a few private trips, backpacking outfitters, and NPS river and vegetation crews. Wilderness and GCY have signed up for several weeks throughout the summer but there are still some gaps in the schedule.

Below are the approximate dates that we need to get filled for the summer. It takes 8 people ~30 minutes to water the essentials and less than hour to get everything. See the attached documents for details and a map. If you or someone you know can commit to any of the dates, please let me know! And the plants will love water ANYTIME! If you are available to water another date, just let me know and I will sign you up.

Thanks so much!

Anytime during the week of:

June 3
June 24
July 8
July 22
August 12
August 26
September 2
September 16
