Been aiming for a float down the Dolores through Gateway Canyon later this week but can't seem to figure out if there's enough flow. WWOTSR calls it a minimum of 700, which is right about where the gauge seems to be now. And it looks like at least a 2-day pucker is brewing.
Anybody familiar enough with this run to know where it truly bottoms out? We'd be running a 14-footer and possibly a 16er. Seems like it's always plenty casual, so ww thrills aren't a priority. Just like to avoid dragging rafts or portaging anything if possible.
Should we launch?
