Gallatin River 5k pov



Sweet solo session on the semi classic Gallatin River. The sun came out and so did the Gopro. 5k starts to get fun for sure hope it goes over House. and the hitchhiking odds were extremely shisty. video is from today about noonish.
sorry would have posted it up sooner but i went kayaking up hyalite this afternoon as well.. sick day indeed

Any bozeman locals want to run beartrap. Gauge is 6.43 feet.. above recommended on AW website.. could be sweettt..think about it 5900 cfs in beartrap..do it tomorrow

Would be down for Saturday. In Helena for work....Did you hear anything or see a river wide strainer on the Gally near House? One of my non-boater friends called me last night so could be a rumor. Figured if anyone knew, you would!

Was there two days ago but looked like some of rafters, from one of the companies hammered it out.. clean... vid is of yesterday no logs..might be down for this weekend. Trying for red lodge area though..

Mike, what's the clearence under bridge. Can rafts (my cat) still fit under. Considering doing both Bear trap & Gally this weekend. Mad mile looks fun!

No bridge problems what so ever.saw couple catting it yesterday. you not hanging around snake? Wish I could make the festival. Super bumming right now.. mad mile is sick stuff holding at 5.. gonna be good level regardless.. if I don't make the red lodge festival than ill be hanging and you should hit me up beartrap will be sickness if flows continue to stay high out that way..

Snake & Hoback are great fun right now, but this is my front yard. Itching for a change of scenery for a couple of days. The "yard" will only be bigger when I get back.

I hear you. If you don't mind good scenery you can hit the next like 6 miles below beartrap to extend a day a bit since flows be so high.

Honestly from big sky to end if the gallatin canyon is really good even the stuff from close to park boundary could be really fun at these flows
