Some friends and I were up there this weekend for an overnight. We had Andy from the BLM stop by and talk with us about a few things on saturday afternoon. The BLM will be making rounds and talking with campers on the river this summer about keeping a clean camp and using fire pans and groovers. They are not required but highly recomended. He wanted us to pass the word along to other boaters, mainly new boaters that this will be happening. The BLM will also be removing the fire rings that are at the camps this summer. But I digress. Andy was very nice man and basically saying if everyone does the right thing to start with we can keep this section of river permitless. So bring your fire pans and groovers to the river this summer and get the word out to others to do the same. Thank You.

Also for you that don't already know they have taken the pit toilets out from benches 1 and 2. Bring your groover and lets keep this piece of river permitless!
