Front range snow mega dump!

Hell yeah! A gift from the river gods (or stochastic atmospheric processes) at a time of dire need. Echo reported 55"... Incredible. 40 - 50+ totals all over the front range. Love it! Looking forward to drooling over the snotel report updates on Monday!

Why have the river gods forsaken the Western Slope?

55" at echo is great news for bear creek. Not sure it will be enough for a legit season, but it's a great start. If we have another of these storms in April it would be game on!

Too bad most of the precipitation was east of the river basin collection points. The mtns didn't get but a fraction of the snow.

I live about 7 miles upstream of Evergreen towards Mt. Evans in the Bear Creek drainage and I would say the better part of 2.5 to 3 feet fell. I think a vast majority, if not an entirety, of the basin got slammed pretty good.
I've never run Bear but I keep hearing good things about it!

If it goes I am so in.

The areas with the highest snow totals i saw reported ,all in excess of 40", feed into ; SSV, Lefthand,Boulder Crk.,SBC, Clear Crk.below N. Fk. [so Black Rock ,Lwr.,Golden,Town Run],Bear Crk.,So Platte below Bear/Hampden. Some are dam controlled but their reses get filled up some at least.
