Foxton at 850 cfs??

Foxton seems to have been cranking lately between 800 - 900 cfs. I've run it up to 680. Anyone know if there is a significant difference at the current level? Thanks.

In general, pushier, but more of the rocks are covered, so less technical. More water is always better at foxton.

I was there today with cubuffskier (chadwick) and it was a lot of fun. I did it a couple times last year at 600 or 700, but it did seem a little more difficult to me at the current flow. A lot of the rocks are covered up, which is good, but there were a few big holes you have to punch through. It was a good challenge - nothing too scary, but there are a few moves that you definitely want to make.

it looks scarier than it turns out to be. I also ran it at 700, then yesterday at 9something? Typical differences with higher water... moves faster, some big holes, some things washed out... more open lines (one of the last rapids typically has a fun little wave/hole to punch through far river left that now has a mellow river right line, and that rapid where Foxton rd comes in is washed out).

lots of fun! don't miss it.
