hey- not to freak anyone out, but the flight for life helicopter landed at Lyons Park last night and I was wondering if it had anything to do with the playpark. not the kinda thing i like to see there. anyone know what happened? -trev
We were running shuttle as it landed and stopped for a minute. Some activity on the street (one lane was blocked), but nothing at the park. Nobody was running around and nobody was waiting to be transported. We figured it might have been a training run and quit being gawkers.
It is Lion's Park, as in Lion's Club... the civic organization that built the picnic structures, works the 4th of July festivities, etc. I think the "Lyons" versus "Lion's" is what confused people.

Does that mean SSV is your own personal Mordor? haha.
btw- thanks again for the beers. they were tasty. The tequilla (which was over the top), is still sitting in my kitchen.
