First Overnighter

I would appreciate any advice from you rafting veterans on essential gear that I should not forget for a two night three day trip. There will be four people on my 14' Vanguard. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check out this link form NRS. They also have other list of boater resources on their homepage. Yes, pack the whiskey first.

Recent shakedown trip

We just did our first over/multi nighter. I can send you our pack list if you like too, PM me.

Critical things I learned - bring TWO pumps. Also water filter, and check your propane connections before you go(do a dry run), but also bring spare canisters.

Needle and thread are a must!

beer, beer and more beer.

this is a raft after all.

don't forget the drag bag for the beer.

maybe some food as well.

tarpology at this time of year for sun protection or that afternoon rain.
1 tarp, 4 oars, 4 bungee cords, 4 throw bags voila instant shade.
