Finding the right Kayak

My brother and I rented kayaks for the first time last weekend and went down a stretch of the Colorado river in the Texas Hill Country. We did the old kayak and camp as we go, and we really enjoyed it and are each looking for a kayak to purchase. Since we will mainly be doing rivers in and around Texas in addition to 2-3 night camping what would make the most sense? I think the Tsunami 145 would be great but have heard that bigger guys have a hard time exiting in a hurry. We are both around 6'3" 250.

I see that this site is for the mountain west area but I could not find a good general forum other than this one.

Thanks for the help
