European connections

Hey Folks,
Trying to build a new network of paddlers in the Ticino region of Switzerland. There are some epic local creeks with beautiful aquamarine water, clean drops, and inspiring lines, however, there seems to be a scarcity of locals running the rivers. Anyone know of paddling groups in Northern Piedmont, Italy or the Ticino region of Switzerland? I could use some local beta... many of the runs include 'rope access only' sections which are hairy to run into when you're not expecting them.

Josh

Check out the uk rivers guidebook forum. www.ukrgb.co.uk and go to the inland forum. There's lots of poms that travel Europe extensively and they should have plenty of contacts for you
