Europe ww parks?

I might be headed across the pond to do some studying, just wondering if anybody knows of any ww parks anywhere in Europe ( the closer to Holland the better ).

There are quite a few and Europe is relatively small... This site has a lot of info.

Also, look up a guy that posts under "Wilko" on Boatertalk. He's Dutch and a good paddle partner.

Yeah Phil is right. There are a bunch of Slalom courses. The place in Holland is one of the newest, I have no idea what they allow there, but if that indoor surf park is all Flowriders surfing your kayak would be a horrible idea....actually you should try it just make sure the video camera is rolling....

Don't know about the new park, but the Dutch guy that runs Gautemala rafting was once telling some Belgians and I about the only whitewater in the Netherlands and Belgium,a III + w/ play, the Meuse canal i think, don't quote me .So not much there ,but definitely in Germany and France, maybe Switzerland.

I visited the Prague park. It was mainly for slalom but had a good looking play as well.

Bratislava also has a nice looking course (although I have only seen it on TV)

Holland is very good for studying, very bad for kayaking.... Europe is small, but Holland is FLAT and far from everywhere cool. You'll be surprised how expensive and time consuming it is to get around this continent (it is a continent after all), especially with gear. The cheap flights leave mid-week and have baggage restrictions, trains are expensive and frown on creekboats. Plus you'll still need a car to get to the rivers. We haven't been to the whitewater park yet, but have done a couple small trips to the Alps. They're a good ten hour drive from Noord Holland. If you make it over here, or have any other questions, feel free to send me a message.

Not exactly what you asked about but here's a cool story about some guys that kayaked through Norway using only trains for transportation.
