Escalante?

Who's got a visual? Hoping she has one more spike left for this weekend.

It was a good medium last weekend, with the fin rock completely covered. Though I would say some rocks have shifted and the old eyes gages might be off. I am curious on what the gages do today after yesterdays warm weather.

I was hoping she would stay in for the weekend but the differential is now only 900. The snow chart for Columbine pass is showing that the snow is all gone. Sad times.

If you look at the same points on the two graphs, the difference is more like 1100-1200. I know the snow gauge is 0 but it only hit 0 today. I have also been there when the snow gage says 0 but there are still patches of snow melting and flows are OK. Its hot today, and I have my fingers crossed that it could nuke off the last bit of snow. A visual would be cool.

It definitely runs for a bit after the Columbine snotel reads 0. It seems likely that it will be in this weekend, but I can't get out there, so who cares really.

Yeah, other Mack, you are right. The difference is definitely over 1K. I'm hopeful. I may have a buddy heading up that way, I will let you know if he reports a visual.

Variance was ~1200 between Delta and GJ when we ran it on Monday. PLENTY of water. Actually opted not to run the lower gorge because Magnetic Wall was so intense at that flow. Fin totally covered -- wouldn't have known it was there if I hadn't seen it before.

Flows are medium low at 4pm, probably about what mikesee saw on Monday. Flows are highest in the morning. If that helps.

And as I was saying just because the fin is covered doesn.t mean its high.

I would say today was a solid medium at around noon. Get it

It was good the other day. I heard there was an elusive sighting of my real dad actually in a kayak! Such an incredible opportunity to see one of these creatures in the wild, outside of his normal habitat on the sit down bike thing where u work the pedals with your arms....
