Embudo Creek @ Dixon NM

The USGS gauge says it's running 8.7 ft. right now, and American Whitewater says it has only been run up to 4.6 "a mind-bending sick level". I wish I was good enough to think about running this river IV-V, but I'm not. So I thought some of you other buzzards might be interested.
-I thought this might be a mistake in gauge height until I looked at it's record for the last few days-

Frozen over

It's running 32 cfs right now and frozen over in the canyon. The 8.7 ft is the gauge reading for under 1 ft. When it hits 9.9 ft and goes over that, you start at 1.0 ft and on up. Need a minimum of 2.8 ft to bounce down it (and that is super bone zone). Probably just thoroughly confused you huh?

You didn't, but I guess the USGS gauge did. I saw the reading of 32 on eddyflower, but I have known eddyflower to be a little slow sometimes updating their gauge readings. I have never heard of that, but there is a first for everything. Just looking for places to paddle during the winter
