Eagle river : minturn to Dowd

anyone know how long they will be working in it, that stretch is right behind my office and it's crazy how much digging/filling they are doing in it. It will be a completely different run come spring

I Heard thru the first week in October. What better time to throw in a Whitewater park for 'lil ol Minturn! Can't we get Ginn to foot the bill for a play-wave!

They are putting in a fly fishing habitat. I stopped and talked to the foreman for the project 2 weeks ago. There were town meetings in the past and no kayakers were present to give any feedback on the plan.
The money is allocated for fishing only. No money for us dirt bag boaters. They should be done in a week or so, but yes it will be a new stretch of river come spring.
