Driving Footage: It's what's for dinner

Hey motherbastards, we finally updated our lame-ass blog with some stuff from Peru. The Abysmo section of the Rio Apurimac is one of the hardest, longest stretches of whitewater anywhere. I wouldn't know cuz I got the death-bug & had to bail on day 4. But mis compadres pushed on, completed the task & documented it. The video is at the end of the post.

BTW, here in the Norfwest it's been like real "winter". And by that I mean cold & snowy at sea level. The shredding has been all-time, some of my best days of snowboarding ever. I predict spring is going to be big around here & that runoff in certain areas will last til late in the year. Things should start to get going within the next couple weeks, I'd imagine.

bye,
t

we had a doc on the river with us & he threw a shitload of cipro at me & it didn't even come close to making a dent in whatever i had. most ppl i've spoken with have said it was probably an amoeba .. giardia. it took me out for nearly 10 days all tolled. i had no apetite, no energy or strength & lost a lot of weight. must avoid that in the future.

by the way ... the irony of you -- with that screen name of yours -- replying to that part of my post was not lost on me ... solid shit, bro. (pun totally intended)
