Dinosaur or San Juan notifications?

Anyone heard from either yet regarding 2012 permits? I've been watching my mail daily, but no sign yet from either (fingers and toes crossed)...

Nothing yet.. Received the rejection around Feb 18th last year. We're also keeping all things crossed!

Dino said the hope to have the lottery done and letters in the mail by Tues the 21st. Unless your date is June 4th my ladies B-Day in that case we won and better luck next year.

Is the success rate for Dino still around 5%?

I remember looking up the stats last year and getting quite depressed.

It's getting better, it was up to 6% last year

Obviously chances are much better the later you want to go. It is quite early to be getting them yet. I remember last year my wife got her reject and out took another week+ before I got my permit. IOW, you don't want to see anything until later on.

Took my money

They just cashed my application permit check yesterday. I don't know what that means.

I called on Monday and got my early love from the Monticello BLM Field Office... I was fortunate to talk to a friendly ranger who confirmed my April 11th S.J. permit. He also told me that the BLM planned on getting S.J. permits mailed by today. Keep an eye out in your mailbox during the next cuplo' days. Think southwest snow!!!
