Dillon Reservoir Releases Update

Spoke with Denver Water this morning. They have bumped up dillon releases to just a nick under 400 cfs. They plan on bringing dillon's elevation down to 9000ft by May 1, and to do so, they plan on releasing similar range flows from now until May to get there. Flows could go up if we get more snow or precip.

I haven't spoken with Kara in detail, but DW said that something similar is going on at green mountain reservoir in prep for runoff. Green mountain is currently releasing over 700 cfs and gore is right at a grand. I would expect good lower blue and upper colorado flows in March and April as reservoir operations continue.

If you don't have a drysuit... this is a great season to get one! Go hit up Matti and Ten Mile Creek Kayaks on the way to get your spring paddling fix.

Gonna be another great weekend for gore!

DW won't need water from Roberts tunnel for a while. Probably not til after peark. South Platte headwaters reservoirs are mostly full and upper south platte snowpack is in the 140% of average range.

Has anyone done it at this level? Worth bringing the boat up to summit for multisport day?

Do we know if the releases out of Green Mountain are going to stay in this 700 range for the next couple weeks, or will there be an additional bump as the weather warms?

Wanting to float next Saturday and trying to decide between there and Pumphouse. Would rather hit it though if flows are right.

Thanks

Don't know exact flows out if green mountain in the next couple weeks but they will likely be releasing similar flows +/-.
