Dagger Nomad 8.1 foot brace foam

I picked up a Dagger Nomad 8.1 earlier in the season and am loving it. I got a great deal on a demo boat but noticed that the foot brace didn't have any foam installed. Does anyone know how thick the foam is supposed to be on there? I'm ready to H2Glue some minicell on there but don't want to stray too far from what the designers intended. Thanks!

I would say at least three inches... maybe more.

Make sure you allow some way to absorb impact...like drill some holes in the foam. Your ankles will love you.

The Nomad 2pc factory foam is about 3/4 in thick.

Thanks for the responses. Is the two piece 3/4 inch foam stacked on top of one another? (Ex. foot block plastic thingy, 3/4 in foam piece, 3/4 in foam piece.) Thanks again for the help

I think most come with 4 pcs. 2 for each side. I would go in this direction as long as you have the distance with the main foot brace system on it's track.
My last 2 nomads had 4 pcs.
