Dagger Falls- Extreme Danger

This is Laura's SO. I just got a call from her at Dagger. Her group is portaging the falls as I type. The area below the falls is loaded with logs. Ted Day called it a "death trap." She asked me to post this here. Pass the word to anyone putting in at Marsh Cr.

That was the report over the weekend from people getting in to look at road, etc. Sounds really well-knotted together. Hopefully, at 5.8ft today and rising, it'll get blown out. If not, it's just going to collect more wood for a while. Makes the Marsh Creek option a lot tougher, grunt of a portage.

Hopefully the jam will clear itself soon. Marsh with Dagger is a good run. We would have been disappointed if during our Marsh runs we had to portage Dagger. Thanks for posting the update.
