colorado to 850?

The rangers at shoshone said it is going to drop to 850 tomorow. Everyone else I have talked to said it wasnt going to happen, including hte water conservation corp, and other forest service people. The reserviors are full and it seems like denver has enough water for the time being. Does anyone have any beta on this fun political game?

I think the powerplant is broken somehow (busted penstock or something?), and without their senior water right everyone upstream is allowed to turn off the tap.

Does anyone know if that's actually correct?

The NRCS is still forecasting 1600 for the next week:

COLORADO - DOTSERO, NR (EGLC2)

Hopefully this is correct as I'm looking forward to some fall boating!

they are supposed to be keeping it at 1350, we were on the upper c this weekend and they were releasing water from Grand lake to keep the levels up at Shoshone.

I would say yes. You'll scrape a little but I don't think it will be too bad.

you won't scrape at all unless you suck... and i mean suck really bad. that stretch seems nearly the same down to 350.

I've taken the 15 6 through there at 450 with no troubles.

Sure is nicer at 1200.
