Colorado Cat Boaters???

I'm a boater.
I'm a rafter.
I'm a cat-boater.- I love running rivers, but my favorite kind of river is the kind that's super fun in a cat: Piedra, Upper A, Pine Creek/Numbers, Cross Mtn., stuff up in Idaho, Cali...

Who else out there rows cats in CO? Looking to meet up w/more boaters. Many of my old boatin' pals are too busy draggin around that ball and chain (aka-poppin out kids).

Stuff I wanna run this spring:
May- Piedra, Cross Mtn, Ark
June-Piedra, Upper A, Idaho... E.F. S.F Salmon-S.F. Sal to main, S.F. Payette, Lower 5 N.F. Payette...

Looks like Southwest CO is starting to fill in and could have a decent run-off. Hopefully, we'll get a few more wet spring storms before May.

Once the season starts, I'll pm ya to see if we can do some runs together.

I live in Hot Sulphur Springs. I'd like to get down to the Piedra late may/early june depending on flows. I teach school and this june once work wraps up, I'd like to hit up a bunch of rivers...

You gotta deal Dana- if not on your couch, at the take-out for the Piedra- we need to get in a few runs this season. I'll be down in your zone come run-off time!

Still planning the Idaho trivecta...

I'm a cat-boater. have a 12-ft cat for doing day runs and a 16-ft cat for multi-day trips. I'm relocating to Denver in early April to start a new job and will definitely be looking for fellow boaters (and fly-fisherpersons) to introduce me to some of the rivers of Colorado.

I am ALWAYS free on weekends for boating, fly-fishing or skiing.

Yes, want to time my trip for EFSF and SF Salmon.
So maybe late, late spring?

or maybe a May 23 MFS, but not both.

When is the perfect timing for EFSF / SF Salmon?
