Cody or Telluride for July 4th?

The lady wants to go to one of these places for the long weekend, anyone know if there's gonna be any paddling to be had near either town? Is the play stretch near Cody still gonna be in at all?

Telluride is done

Not much water left near Telluride.

Although July 4 is definitely a good time!

Water is good in Cody right now. The Main Shoshone is running 3,800 cfs-which makes for good play on the downtown sections and some gnarly river running up top;

Northfork is coming down, but still in the 3k range= good fun and long unimpeded river

Clarksfork is 4.6 ft= 3,600 cfs, kind of high for the lower and honeymoon but makes the day section exciting

As always, lots going on in Cody over the 4th, if you don't have accommodations booked now, better do so in a hurry.
