Clear Creek Running?

Anyone have any beta on Clear Creek right now? Looks like the gauge says it's running.

American Whitewater - 02. Silverplume to Georgetown, Clear Creek Colorado, US

gotta be a guage malfunction....even the lower guages are not working (at least the ones watertalk uses) ...Have you ever seen the Siverplume to. Georgetown section? It is a strong candidate for gnarliest run in the state !!! If you can run that you 're a badass.

hmmm just drove by it the other day. Def still all ice. Creek isn't normally runnable till mid to late april or even early may.

Is that the steep downhill section of jumbled rocks you can see from I70?

As a general rule, when a gauge goes from 0 to 500 cfs in an hour in the middle of the winter, on a creek with no dam, its probably not running.

It's a low volume mank fest . It has been 5 or more years since I have seen it myself. I believe Hobie and some of his crew bagged runs at varying water levels.

that 's it ...read the description in the link the op posted..
in WWOSR write up., as I recall, Cutch talks about swimming about 10 seconds into one of his 2 runs...I 'd say Cutch, Hobie, and Lyle, definitely qualify as badasses

Everyone knows Tina is Cutch's stunt double for most of his difficult lines. Otherwise, he'd talk about swimming 10 seconds into every run.
