Clear Creek Rising 1G? 2G?

I see we have broken 500 today in the canyon this morning. Any guess on how quick we will make to 1000?

What about 2000?

I doubt it gets to 2k this summer. 500 is an awesome level though for everything. I'd guess it breaks 1,000 in 2 weeks.

Hard to tell exactly what will happen. I think clear creek @ golden will be over a grand within a week. Its supposed to get hot for multiple days in a row, so expect it to pop with a bunch of snow waiting to melt.

My guess is that it gets hot and we see a peak of around 2500 @ golden. This year compares to 83 in snowpack and it peaked somewhere around 2300 then. My guess would be a peak in late june with flows over 1000 for about a month.

If you look at the snotel sites, the snowpack is huge on clear creek.

The big melt has barely even started yet. Check this plot current as of today.

High chance that we have good water in clear creek for the first 1/2 of august, and reasonable chance we could have water in clear creek for the month of august. Can't remember which year (83 or 95) it was, but back then clear creek ran between 400-500 for the entire month of august, and we got as big of a snowpack as that.
