As a modern-day open boater, I can safely say that it took some HUGE balls to run that shiz in a 17' aluminum canoe with no airbags and no helmet.

Sweet! Me and some buddies hit section IV a couple of weeks ago. I definitely agree, running the shit in 17' aluminum canoe took some serious cahones. Especially trying to drop sock em dog in one .

My dad was paddling section IV in an aluminum canoe before they had flotation figured out....He used to stuff inner tubes in the bow and tie it down with twine.........Classic.

Best post in a good while - I loved that footy! The carnage at 7 Foot and Corkscrew was sweet, but the broach at the top of the Dog was awesome. For all the OGs out there...respect.
