Cascade slot is a park and huck that is probably full of wood. Cascade Creek is a run that accesses Rockwood. You have to hike down from Purg to get to the put-in. Do not try to boat Cascade down from the slot. It is full of wood. We are going to give it (the good run) a go tomorrow.

Good to Go

We (me and three other guys) ran Cascade Creek (3rd Gorge of Lime) May 17. We had high water and it was just plain fun. There were two highly visible, river wide logs that we rolled or paddled under. We did the portage at Landslide on the left. The top of Landslide looked good to go except for a nasty branch lodged in the left slot, exactly the line one would want to take. Rockwood was a hoot. I think we had about 3000 cfs. Mandatory Thrashing was a BIG hole and we ran it on the right about five feet off the wall.

Have fun!
