Fort Collins residents and Poudre paddlers,
Thank you for all that you've done to help the Poudre Whitewater park succeed as far as it has so far. We've made a ton of progress. This park is planned and a part of the City of Fort Collins future, now we need to accelerate funding for it and get it started in the Fall of 2015.
We have 2 events this week that will get us to the next step. Please sign up for one or both if you can spare some of your time.
This Wednesday night, the Great Outdoors Colorado fund, or GOCO is doing a listening session for potential fund ideas. We would really like to convince them they need to do a river projects fund again like they did for Salida here on the Poudre.

6 - 8 p.m., Boyd Lake Room, Courthouse office building, 200 W. Oak Street.
The second opportunity to help is for New West Fest this weekend and help us get donations to our fund as well as show the citizens of Fort Collins what we're up to. Essentially, help us staff the booth.
Below is the signup sheet to help, fill in for a few hours on Saturday or Sunday if you can.
Thanks for your time, I can assure you that a few of us are working hard to ensure this happens for us finally after 15 years of trying.
