Gallatin III
Boulder III, IV+
Madison IV, V
Stillwater?,
Yellowstone III playboating,
Henry's Fork V waterfalls

Definitely more out there, but those are the close obvious picks.

ran woodbine section of the Stilly tonight was still real fun, it looked like most of the pots section would all go too, also the west rosebud has been running at good flows, great boating on the west bud

How is the Gallatin running now? I want to take some people Stand Up Paddling somewhere and would love to get on the Upper Gallatin somewhere below Big Sky if there is still any water. On the SUPs we prefer to have a bit of depth so we aren't hitting the bottom, having the board stop, and ending up doing the Superman onto rocks. A shallow spot or two is fine, but too much shallow stuff is no fun. Ideally looking for Class II. Thanks!

I think the yellowstone would be the better pick. Springdale FAS to Greybear FAS is moving flatwater for about 9 miles and it's a deeper river for sure. Mrs. Bubbles is probably still in if you want to surf as well.

Thanks Glenn. I don't know that stretch of the Yellowstone, but does it have a lot of waves/rapids? We are looking for something to keep us pretty busy with minimal flatwater. One of the people coming with us is a kayaker from Peru (who will be on a SUP too) and I want to show off some of Montana's beauty - thus I thought of the Gallatin. We are coming from Helena for just a day trip, so trying to keep it not too long of a drive.

Yankee Jim canyon on Yellowstone, not totally flatwater.. But a lot shorter than 9 miles of flatwater
