Boulder Canyon - Diesel Truck Accident :-(

From a Ned Fire fighter,
"Boulder Canyon will be closed until about 5 or 6pm tonight due to accident. A correction, a 4000 gallon Diesel truck rolled on to its side, not a propane truck. The truck was full at the time and ruptured spilling all 4000 gallons of diesel on the road and in to the creek. This will take some time to clean up. check Cotrip.org for status. The spill was at about 34.5 MM below the narrows. Sugarloaf and Magnolia are alternatives, the Summer road is not."

Enough to spike the flows? How buoyant is a boat in diesel?

That sucks. Radio said 4000 lbs of propane, which I figured would mostly evaporate. 4000 gallons of diesel is way worse. Seems this will be a long term problem, no?

Not sure how much actually leaked. I am heading down the canyon this morning and will be checking it out.
