Boating shoes

I need to get a new pair of water shoes for creek boating. Recommendations? Thanks.

Chaco Z1's are all you need year round (unless there is a foot of snow)

How do the 5.10 hold up these days? I got a pair of the old 5.10 about 7 years ago and they fell apart after about a week, seriously. Any idea how a size 11.5 would fit in a large creek boat?

I'm not certain why we are having this conversation on this forum since you have my phone number but.......
Quality is mediocre as I find most creek shoes
I wear a size 12 and they are tight in my villain S but that's just because I have very large feet
They warranty the shoes well
And they work well out of the boat. I'm never bitching about slipping which always happened with the Keens.

5.10 is the best gripping sole in kayaking shoes. They wear out, but I've got close to 100 days on my water tennies. I fit size 11.5 in a Jackson villain just fine.

I agree, 5.10 is at the top of the list for boating shoes, but Chaco has released a boot to compete with the water tennis, and Astral has the Brewer out to satisfy the hipsters among us. Teva makes a pretty solid product but it's lacking in the traction department compared to 5.10...

Maybe he wants to hear an opinion...other than yours.

In fact, I think you should quit playing Momma to your buddy.

On that note, I have the Kokatat booties...love them and their traction.

/just so I'm not all negative and all.
