Boat smells like coffee and corn nuts HELP!!!

After shoulder surgery (rotor cuff with spurs, chips and debrevement (sp?) as well as a bicep tendon re-anchor into the shoulder I found my boat smells like coffee and corn nuts after a long garage stay.

My question is this - anyone have any idea how long the bicep tendon gives an average boater grief after being reattached?

p.s. Has anyone ever suffocated trying to remove their drytop with a bad shoulder ?

I tore my bicep from forearm and had it fixed in November. I am still not as strong as I was, but it is slowly coming back. I have been taking it easy this since the water is hard to find. I noticed it rowing out of ruby-Horsethief over fathers day weekend. The all day windathon sucked .
My doc told me 6 months of taking it easy (as in don't re-tear rafts around) and 1-2 years to get back to 100%.

Good luck

I was surprised how bad it feels and it has been months. I guess this is the best year in a while to heal up. How is your range of motion? My external rotation is pretty much non-existent.

I have my full range of motion back, but it took a few months of twisting my arm back and forth. Now I just need to work on the strength, it is amazing how fast you loose muscle when you are in a sling.
This year I am taking it easy, I have run the Poudre and Ruby-Horsethief, so nothing difficult, just a lot of rowing, which for me is the best rehab
