Big Timber Flow?

Anyone have beta on whether Big Timber Creek is running? Looks like all the nearby gauges have spiked recently and warm temps are forecasted for the weekend.

Any flow beta would be greatly appreciated. Too high this weekend, too low, too snowy?

Sounds like it's probably running but access may not be there. Anyone have the word on how much snow is around the creek -- too much to run it? Thanks!

I heard the crazy mtns got pounded this winter pretty heavy, but worst case scenario is you hike thru a bit of snow to get in some good boating. Last year we hiked thru snow on the upper half but it was well worth it.

A couple of my friends were up there skiing yesterday (5/20/09), and said that they were the first ones to make it to the parking lot at the campsite in some time....This has been a very snowy spring in these parts, so there is still tons of snow up there. They took some pics of the creek and it does not look like enough water for boating this weekend, but it will come very soon as we are expecting some warm days and cool nights in the next week.

Not sure about Hyalite....They just opened the road last weekend...had a different group of friends head up there to ski Blackmore. I'll see if I can get any word on the creek from them, perhaps I'll take a look after work. There was a cop on the road up Hyalite performing a speed trap so watch out for that. The Gallatin should be great this weekend, I have the inlaws driving up from Buffalo so I'll be too busy to head out on the water.
