Big Thompson River Update

I live right on the river - the flood caused a MAJOR OVERHAUL.

we are missing several damns, there is a log totally across the river in the big bend above the handicap parking (you can just barely see it from the road),there are several NEW wires across the river with no trespassing signs on the class 3 section about 5 miles down from Estes Park, they have put some temporary curvets (very small and dangerous) in around drake.

I am sure there is more so check it out before you run it.

ps there is one more thing - at the bottom of the class 5+ there a new about 6 foot drop and i could not see any line that worked (not that i wanted to do it anyway).

Try loading your pics directly from your phone via the Ap. At least with the i phone version, I find it much easier than using the full site.

I think that means canon shot changed for the worse, not like it was that awesome of a rapid to begin though.

It was a fun rapid, you just had to wait for over 500 cfs to fill it in a little. When I looked at it it's very close to being awesome, but it'll be marginally runnable instead.
